Another Truimphail Fanboy

Normally I would have edited the previous post, but fuck it, I'd rather post a new post instead.

http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=88527

I pretty much said that to get Platinum and to avoid Truimphail (dashunicorn ordered that and is now regretting it). This butthurt Truimphail fanboy, called PikachewTofu cries about how I'm hating it for not having Lost World (something I never mentioned), then says it's better than 3/4 of the sets now and pretty much names the usual suspects that are bashed to hell (for those you don't know that, RR, SV, AR, and UD) and how is one of the best boxes ever.

Lost World's recent abandoment from the US is not the reason Truimphail sucks. Truimphail sucks because it lacks anything worthwhile and has a shitload of hype behind it. And as for being better than the other sets:

Rising Rivals has many cards that are really cool: Flygon (and X), Luxray GL X, Infernape 4 X, Lucian's Assignement, The Rotoms, The Pikachu reprints, Mismagius GL X, Darkrai G, Arcanine, and tons other cards from the Sinnoh Gym Leaders and Elite 4. Truimphail, from what I have seen from reports, lack even the shiny Pokemon cards that they promised of the Legendary Beast Tins. That is just pathetic.

Supreme Victors is the same way. Garchomp C X, Blaziken FB X, Magmortar, Metagross, Rayquaza C X, Dragonite FB, Electivire FB X, Venusaur, Chatot G, Retro Promo Reprints, Shiny Pokemon and tons other cards from Cynthia/Cyrus/Frontier Brains. Truimphail again, apparently let out the promised shiny cards, which would make it more of a failure if this is true.

Arceus has many cards that are used this format, massively: Expert Belt, Cursegar, Charizard, Gengar X, and not to mention the Arceus cards are rising in popularity. Other amazing cards include Cherrim, Froslass, Toxicroak, Swalot, Sceptile, shiny Pokemon, Tangrowth X, and many more.Truimphail so far does not seem to have single shiny card (and I've heard reportsof pulling Alph Lithographs, but no shiny), the tin ad said "Look for shiny pokemon in upcoming sets" and Undaunted was out at the time, so there is no excuse that the shinies would be absent.

Speaking of Undaunted that set also has many gtood cards. I already listed a list of them in the past, here are some of them: Espeon Prime, Umbreon Prime, Raichu Prime, Scizor Prime, Umbreon, Kyogre&Groudon LEGEND, Special Energies, Drifblim, Vileplume, Alph Lithograph that discards stadiums, Energy Exchanger, Gliscor, Leafeon, Weavile, and tons of others. Undanted is an underrated set that gets much less than it deserves. Meanwhile, Triumphant is treated like a Halo game before release and pretty much sucks. And the apprant lack of shinies is a problem because the shinies were confirmed to be in upcoming sets, and there are over 10 cards that are yet to be translated. There is no excuse for this and the set is hyped to hell.

So pretty much, Triumphail is NOT better than those sets, it's fucking garbage and has nothing on those sets. And I gotta love how he calls me uncreative for hating Truimphail for the lack Lost World (even though that was never brought up or has nothing to do with Truimphail sucking), yet uses the same 4 sets that the usual PokeBeach conformist bashes to death. What a hypocrite.

After I destroyed his arguments, stated how better Platinum than Truimphail, and how they same 4 sets (I'm calling these sets, The Hated 4 for now on) never got the hype Truimphail got. PikachewTofu got butthurt again and backpedalled how he never bashed The Hated 4, he just said that Truimphail was better and how he never attacked Platinum, then said that Platinum would be rotated next year.

The fact that he brought up The Hated 4 and compared Truimphail favorly against those, implies that he is bashing those. Platinum is by far the best box you can buy for a serious Pokemon player, as has the best stuff for this format. It will be rotated out NEXT YEAR, but this year has just begun, so that is not so much a bad idea. Especially for someone who is getting back in the TCG. Have this been the Summer 2011, his argument would be more legit, but right now it's Ocotber 2010 and the Platinum cards will be around, so that would a better off.

I mean why buy a set of the most effective cards on the format when you can buy some half quarter-assed set that failed to live up to the unbelievable amount of hype?
